The additional heating for water pipes. For a better transfer of the temperature from the heating cable to the water pipe we highly recommend to wrap our aluminium foil to wrap around the pipe / heating cable. All of our heating cables can also be used for plastic pipes; please only use polyethylene pipes which are suitable for warm - and cold water. For an optimal heat distribution, we recommend that you first wrap our aluminium foil araound the water pipe. The heating cable is then also wrapped around the pipe following by another wrapping of the aluminium foil on top of the cable. A further insulation of the pipes with foam tubing e.g. armaflex is advisable.
