Alternatively pasture pumps can be connected at pasture barrels or at IBC-tanks. There the horse can use the already existing kind of valve on the pasture as well.

The pasture pumps for IBC-tanks especially are marked with the designation "WN". 

The valves of the drinking troughs especially are adapted to the low water pressure of barrels or IBC tanks.
